Senior management of the Department "Assessment" at FCI Ltd., is aware of the importance and is committed to ensuring the impartiality in the activities of the Certification Body (CB)
The Department "Assessment", as a Certification Body makes decisions for certification based only on objective evidence obtained during the activities of the certification process
The personnel of the Certification Body is not subjected to commercial, financial and other similar influences that may affect their professional judgment and compromise their impartiality.
The personnel from the other structural units of FCI Ltd. does not participate in the management of the Certification Body, the review or the decision-making for certification of products and production control.
FCI Ltd. does not develop, produce, sell or maintain products within the certification scope of the CB.
The Department "Assessment" is not engaged in any of the following activities:
- as a designer, manufacturer, installer, distributor or maintainer of a products certified by the Certification Body;
- offering or providing consultations to its clients on issues related to their products requested for certification.
The Certification body is fully responsible for the impartiality of its internal and external resources involved in the certification process.
The management of the Department "Assessment" at FCI Ltd., defines, analyzes and documents any possible cases of conflicts of interest that may arrise through the certification of products and production control, including conflicts arising from its relationships, by identifying and managing potential risks.
When informed, the Certification body takes action and responds to all risks to its impartiality arising from the activities of other persons, bodies or organizations. At the same time, it does not allow external pressure from consulting companies, partners, employees and/or persons related to the organization during the certification process
In cases where a kind of relationships create a risk to impartiality, the Department documents, eliminates or minimizes this risk.
Any information threatening the impartiality of the Certification body is presented in the established mechanism for maintaining impartiality - the Advisory Commission to the Department "Assessment". The provided information must contain all identified sources of potential risks.
The Department "Assessment" does not state or imply in any way that the certification will be faster, easier or cheaper if a certain consulting organization is used.
The remuneration of staff/personnel of the Certification body does not depend on the number, quantity and results of the activities on product certification.
